The Maryland Sickle Cell Disease Association, Inc. (MSCDA) is a 501 (c)(3), tax exempt non profit organization that was incorporated in 2006. MSCDA was formed by concerned parents and interested individuals seeking to improve the lives of persons affected by Sickle Cell Disease in Maryland. MSCDA seeks to work collaboratively with patients, families, healthcare providers, federal and state agencies and other community based organizations to promote advocacy, education, research and excellent healthcare delivery.

The Maryland Sickle Cell Disease Association team came to us to help them create a new website for their organization. They wanted to built a site that would work as a resource for those suffering form Sickle Cell Disease, as well as a platform that would announce upcoming events and programs.
We created a site that was colorful, eye-catching, and branded to match their existing logo and marketing materials. In order to keep their content organized and designed with user experience (UX) in mind, we broke up the homepage in clear, digestible sections: services, upcoming events, and news, and the site has clear calls to actions for users to either contact or donate. Considering that their audience will be visiting the site on various devices, we ensured the site was fully responsive and optimized.
